Personal Data Processing Policy (Habeas Data)

ElectrifyU (hereinafter “the Academy”), in compliance with current regulations on the protection of personal data, transparency and the constitutional right of all persons to know, update and rectify the information collected about them in databases or files, establishes this Personal Data Processing Policy.

1. Data Controller

The party responsible for processing your personal data is ElectrifyU, with support channels available to the community via the email address contacto@electrifyu2.com.

2. Processing and Purpose of Collection

The personal data we request (such as name, email, mobile/WhatsApp number and experience level) will be collected, stored, used and shared for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Academic Management: To validate your identity, manage your enrollment process, give you access to the study platform, send you digital NEC materials and coordinate live classes.

  • Direct Communication Channel: To contact you via email, phone calls or WhatsApp messages to follow up on your requests for information or technical support.

  • Commercial and Marketing: To send information about new courses, book releases, free webinars, special promotions and key updates from the electrical industry.

  • Payment Management: To securely process commercial transactions through our partner payment gateways.

3. Rights of the Data Owners

As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. Know, update and rectify your personal data held by the Academy in the event that it is partial, inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.

  2. Request proof of the authorization granted for the processing of your data.

  3. Be informed, upon request, about how your personal data has been used.

  4. Withdraw authorization and/or request deletion of your data from our databases when you believe that constitutional and legal principles, rights and guarantees are not being respected.

  5. Access, free of charge, the personal data that has been processed.

4. Procedure to Exercise Your Rights (Habeas Data)

To make inquiries, updates, corrections or to request the deletion of your data from our systems, you must send a formal request to the email: contacto@electrifyu2.com.

  • Request requirements: You must include your full name, the contact number associated with your account and a clear description of the facts giving rise to your inquiry or complaint.

  • Response times: Inquiries will be handled within a maximum of ten (10) business days, and complaints within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, counted from the date they are received.

5. Transfer and Transmission of Data to Third Parties

ElectrifyU does not sell or transfer your personal data to outside companies for advertising purposes. Data may be shared securely only with technology providers that make the Academy’s operation possible (web hosting services, email automation platforms and encrypted payment gateways), under strict confidentiality agreements.

6. Validity of the Databases

The personal data provided will be kept in our databases for as long as the academic and commercial relationship with the student is maintained, or until the data owner exercises their right to deletion or expressly withdraws the authorization granted.
